to the website for the Mont Saint Michel Bay Interbasin Commission
The creation of an Interbasin Coordinating Commission in Pontorson on
the 23rd of January 1998 firmly laid the foundations for a cooperation
between Normans and Bretons, united in working on an exceptional
site: the
Mont Saint Michel Bay.
The
committees for the Loire-Bretagne and Seine-Normandie Basins ,
who
are fully aware of the rare and fragile nature of this site have undertaken
to work together towards the management of the water
in the river basins of the Bay and coast.
